BELT SIZING – When ordering your belt, your PANT SIZE is your BEST BELT SIZE. If you are between sizes. Use the larger size. We have used this formula for years. Be confident in your ordering. Make adjustment for an Inside Holster by adding a size.
SOFTNESS vs. FIRMNESS – Like a good pair of leather boots, your belt will take some time to break in. Our Heavy Duty Belt is thick and will wear solid. It is made to stay firm. GUN BELT and WORK BELT INFORMATION – Our Heavy Duty Leather Belt has been used as a Gun Belt for years. It is one solid piece of a thick, bridal leather. Most gun belts are two thinner pieces of leather sewn together. A really good gun belt has a stiffener (like Kydex) sewn between those pieces. This, however, makes the belt extremely stiff. Our belt is thick and firm. A lot of folks prefer that style. As a work belt, I use it to hang tools off of my belt as do many other craftsmen.
